TrueReach Chrome Extension

Add people from their LinkedIn profiles to TrueReach without leaving the page. A compact banner at the top of each person's profile shows the likely matching CRM company. Send from the banner or use your configurable keyboard shortcut, with a left-to-right animation while the contact saves. Search companies directly in the banner: type, Tab through matches, and press Enter to select a company and add the contact. From a company's website, use the toolbar to find its LinkedIn link and fill the matching CRM company's empty LinkedIn field.

Captures the person

Reads the open LinkedIn profile and extracts first name, last name, current job title, and profile URL.

Suggests the company

Matches the LinkedIn company name, company URL, job title, and domain clues against companies already in the CRM.

Sends to the CRM

Creates the person under the selected company with Chrome extension as the source, and returns an existing contact when that company already has the LinkedIn profile.

How to Use It

  1. Sign in through Settings in the banner or the extension icon, then open a person's LinkedIn profile.
  2. Review the person and likely matching CRM company in the TrueReach banner at the top of the page.
  3. Click the banner's send button or use the banner shortcut to save to the displayed company. This confirms your destination without a separate review step, including for partial matches.
  4. To choose another company, click its name or press the company-search shortcut. Type a name or domain, use Tab / Shift+Tab or arrow keys to choose, then Enter to add the contact. Escape cancels.
  5. Watch the left-to-right progress animation and saved or already-exists confirmation. New contacts have Chrome extension as their source.

Profile banner shortcut: Command + Shift + U on macOS, or Ctrl + Shift + U elsewhere. Company search: Command/Ctrl + Shift + Y. Enter on a suggestion immediately adds the contact.

Customize shortcuts in Settings → Keyboard shortcuts → Configure. Chrome opens chrome://extensions/shortcuts; the extension shows the actual assignments, including when a shortcut is not assigned. Contact capture and company selection happen in the banner. The toolbar contains company LinkedIn capture, connection, and shortcut settings.

Save a Company's LinkedIn

  1. Open the company's website, click the TrueReach extension icon, then click Find & save company LinkedIn.
  2. TrueReach checks the current page for a company LinkedIn link and matches its website domain to a single company already in your CRM.
  3. If that company's LinkedIn field is empty, TrueReach saves the link and opens it in a new background tab. A status message on the website confirms the result.

Shortcut: Command + Shift + L on macOS, or Ctrl + Shift + L elsewhere. Customize it in the extension's keyboard shortcut settings.

Existing LinkedIn links, including legacy company fields, are preserved. No save or new tab occurs if there is no matching company, more than one match, no company LinkedIn link, or several distinct company LinkedIn links on the page. Try the website's home or contact page. This action does not create company or contact records.

Install the Extension

  1. Download the extension zip from this page.
  2. Unzip it on your computer.
  3. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome.
  4. Turn on Developer mode.
  5. Click Load unpacked.
  6. Select the unzipped chrome-extension folder.
  7. Reload existing LinkedIn tabs after updating the extension.

Notes

Can I override the company?

For a person, yes: search in the LinkedIn banner, then select a company to add the contact. Website LinkedIn capture uses a unique, exact domain match and does not guess a destination.

What if the contact already exists?

TrueReach checks the selected company's contacts for the same LinkedIn profile URL and returns the existing contact instead of creating a duplicate.

What data is sent?

Contact capture sends the person's name, job title, LinkedIn profile URL, and chosen CRM company. New contacts are labeled Chrome extension. Website capture sends the website origin and detected company LinkedIn URL. The profile banner checks suggestions without creating a contact.

Where does it work?

The banner works on LinkedIn person profiles. Company LinkedIn capture works on ordinary company websites when you click its button or use its shortcut. The popup footer should show Extension v0.5.0 after updating.
